Ah, hello there Mr. Osborn! It's me, Curt Connors. I'm pleased to say I have some good news. I think I'm ready to run rodent trials for the cross-species regeneration serum. [he sounds so so excited YAY SCIENCE.]

Of course, I don't really expect these trials to yield fully effective results-I've dialed back some of the traces of lizard DNA in order to make the end result less...well, lizardy. Most of the serum is based on human recovery properties, so I'm not entirely sure how the results will turn out, but I think it's worth a try.

Really. Connors, that's fantastic news. How effective are you expecting at this point in time? Percentage-wise?

Not very. Because I've substantially lowered the concentration of the reptile DNA, I'm expecting a forty percent chance of partial regeneration, with a ten to fifteen percent chance of full regeneration-and that's not counting some side effects. I'm sure that all subjects will be, for lack of a better term, slightly lizardy.

It still needs a lot of tinkering.

Hmm. Yes, I imagine. Take your time, Connors, it's a delicate process. No point in rushing something as long as you keep up your current efficiency.
