If I may be blunt. I don't care much for kids. My own children I manage to suffer the incompetence of because I believe anything carrying my genetics must carry in them immense potential that somehow most of them fail to ever utilize. But I persevere, by god, I have faith. Sooner or later, someone will prove themselves to be worth my legacy be they blood or not. I don't humor children that seem incompetent or intelligent or useless. There mere fact I am even bothering to offer you this internship means that I consider you intelligent enough to be worth teaching. Are you following me, Rose? Do you see me talking to the children around here? Other people's children are absolutely worthless to me.
